Monday 11th June 2018.

  1. Abacus W.B. 3 Pages 28 and 29.

  2. May I remind you to get the sheets required for Year 4 (list had been given 3 weeks ago).  Deadline is 15th June.

  3. Today children have been given the full list of requirements for Year 4.  All items will be needed for the first day of Year 4 in September.

Wednesday 6th June 2018.

  1.  On Friday we have the Harbour Cruise outing.  The bus will leave at 8:20am sharp so it is VERY IMPORTANT that children are punctual.  Bring only a small backpack with water and lunch.  Put on sunblock in the morning and come in P.E. kit and white trainers.   Bring also 50c, 50c and €1 for an ice-cream.

  2. All today’s homework is for Monday, do not bring anything on Friday as we will not enter the classroom.

  3. Think and learn Pages 11, 18 and 13.

  4. Maths handout back and front.

  5. Maltese handout back and front.

Friday 1st June 2018.

  2. Maths handout, write also all the other numbers like we did in class.

  3. Social Studies Page 25, do research, find pictures and write a sentence.  Research also about Flora and Fawna on Page 26 and also Page 27.

5. Watch the video in the previous post about Qrendi.  On Wednesday 6th we will have a video conference with pupils from Qrendi Primary who will ask us questions about their video for example:  ‘Lil min hi ddedikata l-knisja tal-Qrendi?’  You can write notes, make sure you have studied the details by Wednesday.

  1. Maths Abacus W.B. 3 Page 23.

  2. Symmetry handout, cut out around each square, fold along the symmetry line and cut around the shape.  Stick on brown copybook.

  3. You have a form for an outing.

  4. Joined handwriting Pages 17, 18 and 19.  Children are encouraged to write their work in joined handwriting. 

  5. Way Ahead workbook Page 77.

  6. Revise the months poem from the small sheet which I gave you today.

Monday 21st May 2018

  1. Maths SSM Pages 19 and 20.

  2. English handout, continue Ex B on red copybook.

  3. Bring an empty toilet roll cut in half to make two cylinders.  Bring also 4 different coloured A4 paper (not kartoncin), glue stick and scissors.

  4. Study Page 86, Masculine/Feminine from study notes.

  5. Boys have a handout ‘Superheroes’ while girls have a handout called ‘Fairies’.  Use the small word bank with words to choose six words and write them around the cloud at the top of the page.  Write each word again next to each number.  Enter each of your chosen words in the rhyming word generator and find a suitable words which rhymes.  Write it down next to the word you had chosen.  Now try to write a poem about fairies or superheros and remember that each line has to end with the rhyming words you chose.
